Mibs Refund Policy
We want you to pay for Mibs because it is useful. If you are not happy, you can request a refund under the rules below.
1. Full cancellation refund within 14 days of your first subscription
Within 14 days of first subscribing to Pro or Max (monthly or yearly), email support@mibs.app to request a full cancellation refund. You do not need to give a reason. We will cancel the corresponding subscription, stop future charges, and arrange a full refund of that order through Paddle.
2. Renewals and service compensation
- Monthly renewals are generally not refunded. You can submit a cancellation request at any time. An ordinary cancellation accepted by Mibs takes effect on the displayed end date of your current paid period, with paid features available until then.
- Yearly renewals can receive a full cancellation refund if requested within 14 days of the renewal charge. We cancel the corresponding subscription and stop future charges.
- Unintended renewals after an accepted cancellation or downgrade: if Mibs accepted your request before the current paid period ended, but a renewal still occurs because of the platform's 30-minute restriction before renewal or a failed attempt to stop charges, we automatically cancel the corresponding original subscription and fully refund the resulting renewal payments, including tax, through Paddle. You do not need to apply, and the ordinary monthly and yearly renewal refund limits above do not apply. These renewals do not extend your original paid access. We will clearly explain any downgrade that requires a new payment confirmation for the target plan, without automatically making an additional charge.
- If a fault on our side keeps you from using paid features for an extended period, you can request a partial refund as service compensation for the affected time. This preserves your subscription and current paid access unless you separately ask to cancel.
3. How each refund affects your subscription
- Full cancellation refund: we cancel the corresponding subscription when processing the request, stop future charges, and end the associated paid access. Your account follows any other valid paid entitlement or the free plan. Funds may arrive after cancellation takes effect.
- Partial service compensation: only the compensation amount is refunded. Your subscription and plan continue, including renewal on the original cycle; you can still cancel separately.
- Historical order refund: refunding an earlier order does not automatically cancel your current subscription or remove access earned by later valid payments. Eligibility follows sections 1 and 2 and your statutory rights; this is not an unlimited refund promise.
Only cancellation refunds trigger the corresponding subscription cancellation and downgrade. An ordinary cancellation is not a refund request; unintended renewals covered by section 2 are refunded automatically. This compensation does not affect access from a new subscription you subsequently confirm and pay for. Downgrading never deletes your memories. Existing memories remain readable and deletable. Above the current reasonable-use limits, you cannot add memories or increase stored text; edits of equal or smaller size remain available.
4. Requesting a refund and receiving it
Email support@mibs.app with your account email or the order number from your Paddle receipt, and say whether you are requesting a cancellation refund, service compensation, or a historical order refund. You can also use the contact details in your Paddle receipt. We will check the order and any amount already refunded, and tell you the outcome. Paddle returns funds to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. Actual timing depends on the payment method and bank; submitting a request does not mean a refund is complete.
5. When refunds are not available
Accounts suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Service, and clear refund abuse (such as repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds), may be excluded from our voluntary refund arrangements. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
6. Your statutory rights
If the law where you live gives you more rights, including consumer withdrawal rights in the EU or UK, those rights apply. This policy does not limit them.
